AddressWe are a busy boutique Aveda salon looking for a Salon Assistant. An apprenticeship is available, to be fully qualified and ready to be on the floor. The Loch Salon is a boutique Aveda salon, ensuring the guests have a calm salon experience. We are looking for a Salon Assistant who is passionate about hair to join our team.
The ideal applicant will:
- Be very reliable and a great communicator.
- Initiative and enthusiasm.
- Be very well organized, timekeeping and multitask.
- Excellent customer service.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Salon experience preferred but not essential.
- Can work under the pressure of a large salon team.
- Initiative to immerse yourself in constant education.
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Assisting with the organisation of the salon floor, shampooing, toning hair and helping stylists with blowdrying.
- Assisting with a strict cleaning rota
- Assisting the Salon Manager with Adhoc duties, stock check and reception duties
- Meet & Greet Clients.
- Answer client queries (including phone enquiries)
- Assisting with step-in reception duties when needed for emergencies.
- Constant learning and practicing.
