What you'll be doing
As a Handover Coordinator, you will have the following accountabilities:
- Responsible for the production of the package completion certificates used to progressively certify the assets throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist the project teams with achieving progressive assurance through coordinating the production, compilation and submission of handover deliverables (documents, records and data) concurrently with the programme activities.
- Track, monitor and analyse data and trends related to the progress of handover deliverables and package completion certificates, in conjunction with the certification/handover schedule, work breakdown structure and accepted programme.
- Understand and comply with employers and contractors information requirements. Coordinate the progressive submission and integration of all handover deliverables through approved processes and workflows within the project Electronic Document and Record Management System (EDRMS) and applicable Common Data Environments (CDEs).
- Expedite documents/records/data by synchronising and facilitating the flow of information between the various stakeholders.
- Offer advice, support, technical and contractual assistance to any and all interested parties on handover requirements.
- Ensure effective stakeholder engagement and communication throughout delivery.
Who we're looking for
You will have the following:
- Strong working experience with Quality Management Systems and working within document/records management on a complex infrastructure project.
- Excellent track record developed over previous experience/knowledge of processes covering the control of documented information including output of service and product provision (e.g. traceability and preservation of records and certificates) including:
Certification and handover, inspection and test plans and associated output records, asset management, construction (highways/civil experience preferable), experience working with digital Quality Assurance systems and/or electronic document and record management systems (EDRMS)
- Strong working knowledge of UK and international standards (i.e. ISO 9001 and 19650)
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in line with the programme/milestone/certification requirements and to work with minimum supervision
- Advanced information technology skills
- Experience working in databases
- Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills – able to build and maintain strong relationships, communicate and influence at all levels
- Excellent organisational skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
