Brightwork are delighted to be recruiting for a Haulage/Logistics Coordinator on behalf of our client on a full time, permanent basis. This is an onsite role based in Paisley.
As the Haulage/ Logistics Coordinator you will focus on the day-to-day and next two week’s planning of logistics operations, manage haulage for loading and discharging vessels, ensure customer requirements are communicated effectively and resolve issues promptly to avoid additional costs. You will support the planner in seeking prices from hauliers and execute at the prices in the pricing matrix, maintaining strong relationships with supplies and the execution team.
Working with this client, key areas will include but are not limited to:
- Daily and weekly planning
- Supplier and relationship management
- Issue resolution.
- Collaboration with Execution and Operational teams
- Support for planning and pricing.
- Operational support
- Team contribution
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage complex logistics tasks and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficient in logistics and inventory management software
- Detailed knowledge of the execution and planning process
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
