My client is looking for a head of Acquisitions to drive forward its expansion within London and the South.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll play a pivotal role in identifying and securing prime locations, particularly in London and key surrounding areas, aligning with our aggressive growth targets.
Key Responsibilities: As our Head of Acquisitions, you will:
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and Senior Management team to craft and implement our expansion strategy.
- Forge strong relationships with developers, agents, and industry peers to ensure acquisitions align with our property strategy.
- Proactively seek "off-market" opportunities through strategic inquiries and direct approaches.
- Negotiate with planning, licensing, and other authorities to secure favourable terms within set deadlines.
- Evaluate and present comprehensive site assessments to gain leadership approvals.
- Cultivate relationships with landlords, developers, and other stakeholders in the leisure, restaurant, and retail property market.
- Oversee external project managers, ensuring timely and budget-friendly new site builds.
- Manage budgets and costs in accordance with approved financial plans.
Candidate Profile: We are looking for individuals with:
- Proven experience in a similar role within a multisite restaurant/leisure or retail property business.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage key relationships effectively.
- Extensive knowledge of London and the South.
- A well-established network of contacts within the property and hospitality industry.
- Tenacity, commitment, and energy with an entrepreneurial approach to uncovering opportunities.
- Familiarity with operational requirements, customer profiles, and branding.
- End-to-end acquisitions management experience, from site finding to legal and licensing processes.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage, organize, and prioritize workload independently.
