HEAD OF BLOCK MANAGEMENT (Property Management)
Location: Harrow, HA1
Salary: £50k
Position: Permanent – Full Time
WANTED: Head of Block Management - We are seeking an individual with significant Block Property Management experience, previous experience in leading a Block Management team and preferably professional qualifications in Block Management: MIRPM or RICS
This is an office based role for a candidate with superb supervisory skills and the opportunity is with a dynamic, forward-thinking property company with offices in Harrow.
You will be overseeing the daily management and administration of the Block Management team, and looking after an international client base.
Your role will be to ensure that outstanding levels of customer service are being delivered as well as being able to help your team build solid relationships with landlords, residents, contractors, maintenance people and of course your company’s lettings representatives.
The role will also involve all aspects of supervision, compliance, training, development, management, complaint handling and assisting with recruitment within the department. You will have a high level of responsibility, reporting directly to the Director.
The ideal candidate MUST have previous experience is residential Block Management ideally be IRPM or RICS qualified, and have had people / team management or supervisory responsibilities as a minimum.
You will possess the skills to effectively manage and develop the team, increase the levels of service, grow the number of managed properties and the profitability of the department whilst upholding and maintaining current legislation and standards.
Skills: The skills required for thisexperienced Head ofBlock Management role will include:
- Previous experience in Block Property Management
- Comprehensive supervisory level experience
- IRPM or RICS accreditation preferred (not essential)
- Administration of Section 20 Notices
- Demonstrate a professional approach to customer service
- Have excellent inter-personal skills
- Excellent telephone manner and superb written and spoken English
- Have superb organisational skills and be able to prioritise workload
- Be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
