Head Of Business Development And Stratgey

Reed are working with a client based in Hertford who are recruiting for a Head of Business Development & Strategy. 

You will be responsible for developing, executing, and managing growth strategies to drive client acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.

The Role:

• Day to day you will create development plans and forecast sales targets against growth projections.
• You will Identify market opportunities through meetings and networking.
• You will meet existing and potential clients and building positive relationships.
• As a core aim you will assist the company to achieve sustainable growth with a growth strategy not only focusing on Sales but also building an infrastructure to support growth.

Key Skills:

• A background in Construction/Construction projects.
• Have a significant number of years relevant professional and/or senior managerial experience.
• Degree in business or related field, MBA preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in business administration, management consulting or strategic planning.
• Excellent understanding of Business operations and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in Business Development, strategy, and leadership roles
• A track record of driving revenue growth.

Soft Skills:

• Decision-making, communication, multi-tasking
• Interpersonal, organisation and analytical skills.

Technical Skills:

• Project management, marketing, product development,
• Maths and statistical knowledge and financial acumen.
