THE COMPANY

THE ROLE
As Head of Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving the business's commercial strategy, fostering client relationships, and expanding market presence.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and implement targeted Business Development initiatives to attract clients & leverage the business's unique selling points to differentiate from competitors
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their present and future needs
- Actively participate in industry events, screenings, awards, and networking opportunities to enhance the company's visibility and reputation
- Work closely with the marketing department, to align marketing efforts with overall business goals
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making.
- Oversee contract negotiations, ensuring favourable terms and compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
THE PERSON
With a proven track record in a senior commercial role within the post-production or media industry, you will demonstrate a strong ability to lead Business Development efforts and achieve sales targets.
It is important that you have had previous experience working with commercial production companies and advertising agencies.
You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
Familiarity with audio & post-production workflows is vital.
