About the role:
We’re looking to appoint a Head of Business Studies to plan and deliver challenging and engaging lessons that instill a passion for learning. There will also be the possibility of taking on Lead Internal Verifier BTEC role across the academy for an increased TLR.
The postholder will have the opportunity to coach/mentor staff and work with other Heads of Business Studies across the network.
You will:
- be experienced in and have a good understanding of BTECs, particularly CNAT KS4 Enterprise and Pearson BTEC Extended Diploma in Business
- have had significant impact on student attainment
- be able to motivate and challenge learners of all abilities
- have the resolve and enthusiasm to make a real difference to the lives of students
- be committed to Ark Putney’s ethos of high expectations
