Head of Strategy – £110,000 - £140,000 – London / Hybrid
A leading marketing and creative agency in the entertainment industry are looking for a brilliant Strategy Director to join them. With opportunities within brand also, you do not necessarily need to have experience within this niche sector, but a passion for it would definitely be required.
- Hybrid working – 3 days in the office each week

- Looking to define and develop the strategic creative output and build that capability from the ground up
Working closely with the leadership team, you will be a natural leader who is confident, passionate, opinionated, and informed. A commercial brain who can balance the drive for creative excellence with an understanding of what delivers commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivating a strategic reputation among existing clients to secure additional and larger projects.
- Spearheading insight and strategy components for new business pitches.
- Enhancing the overall caliber of the agency's strategic and creative outputs.
- Crafting creative briefs and formulating clear insight narratives and propositions.
- Leveraging thought leadership and opinion pieces across various channels to bolster the agency’s strategic credentials.
- Nurturing and guiding a diverse team of strategic thinkers dedicated to generating growth opportunities for clients and the agency, leading through example and inspiration.
- Developing compelling presentations with a distinct strategic storyline, and adeptly presenting to senior client teams.
- Taking charge of integrating strategic tools, research methodologies, and processes within the agency.
- Cultivating an expert perspective in the industries you engage with to stimulate innovative thinking among clients.

- Proven success in delivering outstanding strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen.
- Substantial evidence of thought leadership, opinion pieces, and an award-winning mindset.
- A passion for the entertainment industry (films, TV, music, games).
- Enthusiastic about actively engaging with a team and forging new connections within and outside the agency.
- Assertive presence with a strong influence at senior management levels.
- Capacity to consistently enhance and elevate the agency's insight and strategy capabilities through strategic hires, training, and mentoring.
