Job description

About the role

In your role as Head of Change you will make a meaningful and valued contribution from the outset. This role will provide a great opportunity to lead the delivery of the programme of Change across the USSIM business and act as a strategic partner to the investment floor.

This senior role involves working closely with the USSIM Executive and senior management to understand the business’ strategic objectives and to ensure that the Business Change team structure and framework is effective to support delivery of the programme, with appropriate governance and control.

What you will be doing

As Head of Change, you will work closely with the Executive and senior management help define the scope, scale and sequencing of the USSIM business plan, and then ensure effective delivery of the programmes to deliver that.

In particular, there are key strategic programmes of work across Responsible Investment and delivery of a Data Strategy (including implementation of new data governance frameworks and technical architecture) that are significant pieces of work over the coming years.
In this role, you will ensure appropriate frameworks and processes are in place to ensure: (i) definition of a delivery plan that ensures identification of solutions to meet the business objectives, (ii) prioritisation and planning, (iii) understanding of downstream impact of Change and the risks involved, and (iv) effective governance and reporting around the programme.

This will include ensuring that the business cases for change are appropriately defined to deliver effective and proportionate solutions that represent value for money.
Additionally, the Head of Change will manage and provide leadership to the USSIM Business Change team (circa. 20 project managers and business analysts) who work across the full project lifecycle.

Working in close conjunction with the team, you will ensure the right level of support is provided and resources are prioritised accordingly. You will also lead the team in ensuring the change lifecycle and ways of working are fully understood and adopted.
The successful candidate will work closely across all business and technology teams to ensure projects are planned, resourced and supported for success.
