Do you have Head of Commercial Banking experience, and are you looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a flexible, full-time Head of Commercial Banking (SME), and the role comes with a generous salary and benefits package.

As Head of Commercial Banking, you’ll be responsible for managing the product management and performance of the bank’s full SME banking proposition – including current accounts, savings, loans, cards, overdrafts and other services. We’re looking to speak with candidates with strong commercial trading experience, and strong people and leadership management experience.

This role is predominantly home working with the expectation to attend our Manchester based HQ once per month.

In your first few weeks in this Head of SME role, you can expect to:

• Lead the creation of the customer strategy for the Bank’s SME proposition and translate that vision into a roadmap and plan of continuous improvements to the SME product set
• Lead on or sponsor key initiatives to improve customer journeys and customer experience for SME products
• Support the use of market intelligence, research and customer segmentation to define customer outcomes and use this to lead improvements to SME products
• Expand and improve the range of specialist services provided to our customers by selected third-party providers

To apply for this Head of SME role, you will need relevant experience in a similar role. You will also require the following:

• Experience leading cross-functional working groups to define and deliver improvements to the SME product set
• Knowledge of market intelligence, research and customer segmentation to define customer outcomes and use this to improve SME products
• Expertise in the development of product acquisition and marketing plans
• Experience managing change initiatives across all SME teams
