An entrepreneurial start up biotech business in Manchester is seeking a Head of Commercial Finance to support them at a highly critical time of their journey. They have recently received a high level of funding, and they are looking for a Head of Commercial Finance to partner with the CFO and CEO in executing their entrance into the biotech market.
Your new role
As the Head of Commercial Finance, you will take ownership of the designing and owning commercial management information, whilst providing relevant data around their production and manufacturing costs. You will take full responsibility for daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow forecasting, which will be presented and used in senior decision-making processes and assist with internal forecasts and budgets. There will be multiple adhoc projects, such as, improving the process of reporting and controls, system development and designing commercial strategies.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with previous experience of working within a fast-paced, growing organisation. You will have excellent communication and business partnering skills, as well as strong project planning and time management skills. The client will show a preference towards candidates who have experience within an SME environment which has seen significant growth, this is preferable but not essential.
