Head Of Corporate Sustainability - Construction

My leading client is looking for a Head of Corporate Sustainability to join at a really exciting time you will have a strong corporate background and ideally have a proven background in the construction /built environment with a working at Board-delegated Sustainability Committee level and be in charge of setting the agenda and preparing papers. There is flexibility on your location and occasional office travel, for key meetings and workshops.

Requirements

• Lead sustainability strategy and policy development and
• Manage the interface with the Board-level Sustainability Committee, manage and co-ordinate input into Corporate Sustainability governance, including the Group Board and the Executive.
• Responsible for Corporate Sustainability risk reporting and disclosures including oversight of responses to benchmarks and indices. Input sustainability advisor into TCFD, drive progress on TNFD disclosure.
• Oversight of human rights programme development and delivery
• Support internal working groups on development of key metrics against which progress on sustainability will be measured and assessed internally and externally.
• Present to internal functional teams on the sustainability frameworks and deliver an internal engagement programme
• To examine external trends in Corporate Sustainability, assess their relevance to the client and recommend changes, via the appropriate governance mechanisms, to businesses policies and strategies where appropriate.
