Governors are seeking to appoint a dynamic and energetic specialist who seeks to inspire and enthuse students, and who can lead the development of our Law department.

The qualities we are looking for:
* The ability to lead key stage 5 BTEC Applied Law and WJEC Applied Criminology courses
* Relevant experience of teaching law and delivering exam and coursework based qualifications
* Good subject knowledge particularly in negligence, fatal offences & property offences.
* Promote literacy and numeracy in all teaching and learning practices.
* To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential
* To monitor student progress and identify, encourage and reward success, as well as intervening appropriately where there are concerns.
* To take into account the differing ability of students and differentiate work accordingly.
* Be enthusiastic, dynamic, committed and well organised.
* The ability to contribute effectively to a team.
