I am on the search of an experienced Family Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE to assume the role of Head of Department. They seek an individual capable of leading and nurturing the Family Law department, showcasing strong business acumen and a charismatic personality to manage day-to-day operations. With a storied history dating back to 1792, they have steadfastly served and guided the communities of Cheshire and North Wales for over 230 years. Responsibilities:
Lead departmental strategy development and execution, implementing regular review procedures to monitor progress. Translate strategic goals into operational plans via the Family Department Business Plan. Conduct appraisals, manage team performance, and oversee departmental finances to adhere to budgets. Foster internal and external relationships. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations. Develop local business opportunities and manage a caseload of Family matters per Firm's policies. Maintain organised diary management and utilise case management systems efficiently, ensuring compliance with Money Laundering Procedures and the Data Protection Act.
Requirements:

• 5 years’ PQE experience handling Family law cases.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team in a professional and competent manner.
• Friendly and cooperative approach with clients and colleagues.
• Strong business development and marketing skills.
• Excellent IT proficiency.
• Detailed knowledge of Family law procedures and protocols.
• Proven negotiation skills and personal organisation.
