Head of Development

Harris Hill is delighted to be partnering with a popular co-ed school situated a stone’s throw from Portobello Road in West London in the heart of a diverse and celebrated local community. The school is a ‘Thinking School’, a title which reflects its intelligent approach to education. It aims to teach children not merely to learn, but to learn how to learn. It is in the midst of its 20 year anniversary, an exciting time for the school to celebrate and reflect on what has been achieved and a great platform on which to build the work of the Development Office.

We are seeking an outstanding candidate to fill its vacant Head of School Development role. The successful candidate will have a broad range of responsibilities; administering, developing and growing the Foundation in conjunction with a Board of Trustees. This will involve database management; fundraising strategy and execution; community partnerships; and managing the Alumni Association.

This is a part-time role (3 days per week), working year-round. There is a generous holiday allowance of 25 days annual leave plus up to an additional 4 weeks of holiday during school holiday closure. The part time salary is circa £30K per annum for the 3 days, subject to experience. The school offers free school lunches and optional medical insurance.
