What you’ll do:
In this Head of eCommerce, you will play a vital role in driving business growth, Your tasks involve creating and executing a strong eCommerce strategy, enhancing the customer experience, staying updated on cutting-edge technologies, and analysing performance data.
It goes without saying that you are an online/digital expert however eCommerce success stories should also be in your skills DNA.
Leading a dynamic eCommerce team, you'll be hands-on in providing strategic leadership across various domains, from user experiences to SEO and analytics. Managing websites for customer acquisition through B2C, B2B, and reservation platforms, your flexibility will be crucial, in navigating diverse business requirements and fostering relationships at all levels within and outside the organisation.
You will need to be able to bring teams together for successful results.
Experience required:
* Experience in a similar role, MUST have a travel, hospitality or airline industry background
* Deep understanding and experience in eCommerce AND Digital Marketing
* Excellent Project Management experience
* Skilled in reporting
* Good understanding of Project Management software e.g. PRINCE2, AGILE, or SCRUM
* Previous experience working in software development cycles
* Excellent customer service
* Relationship builder
* Demonstrated history of successful training and development initiatives with an encouraging approach
* Data-driven, with the ability to make decisions using data
* Great knowledge of Digital Marketing channels as well as Web technologies
* Highly organised, deadline-driven
* Self-motivated to achieve in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communicator, written and spoken
* Attention to detail
* Analytical
* Efficient
