As the Technical Lead you're at the forefront of our mission to drive climate transformation. Your role is instrumental in crafting robust systems for intricate operations, ensuring reliability, precision, and adherence to standards. You have spearheaded the development of cutting-edge analytics and business intelligence systems, providing unwavering availability, efficiency, and security. Your expertise fuels data-informed decisions at scale, happening in real-time.
You’ll be the driving force in the technology that can be used along with systems so this really is the opportunity to create it how YOU. This position could be right for a hands-on CTO and also for someone looking to be a CTO.
The Fun you’ll be having:
- Architect, design, and construct systems for navigating the climate transition.
- Collaborate with Modelling and Consulting teams to create adaptable models.
- Blueprint and enhance intricate pipelines across diverse environments.
- Set and maintain standards, encompassing logical design, metadata, and testing.
- Clarify requirements and generate technical blueprints for intricate challenges.
- Assure governance, compliance, and privacy across all operations.
- Contribute to backend software development to empower downstream usage.
- Enhance platform scalability and cost-efficiency.
- Lead discussions on architectural solutions for robustness and efficiency.
- Independently drive systems development, laying the foundation for future growth.
What we need to see:
- Degree Educated in computer science or a related field.
- Several years of production experience in any of the following Python, Go, Java, Scala, or C++.
- Proficiency in SQL and managing intricate operations.
- Profound knowledge in designing scalable distributed systems.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure) and security principles.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.
- Experience in designing for compliance and privacy.
- Experience dealing with a fast-growing startup and startup environment
What would really help:
· Understanding of the Environmental, Social, or sustainability sectors.
· Expertise in ensuring security standards for enterprise customers.
· Demonstrated adaptability in a fast-paced startup environment.
