An exciting Head of Facilities & Capital Projectsposition is now available with Tameside Council on an initial temporary contract. Hybrid working is available.

What is the role?

Tameside Council are now looking to appoint an experienced consultant to lead an expert Facilities Management Service and develop a professional Capital Programme delivery service.

This wide-ranging position is integral to the Council embedding a Corporate Landlord approach ensuring effective management of services and operational property.

The role will also support the development of the Council’s Capital Strategy and Strategic Asset Management objectives.

How can you help?

• Lead Corporate Facilities Management, Corporate Landlord, Environment and Property services and manage Capital Programme delivery.

• Ensure service delivery within a complex and diverse service area through effective leadership of staff, contractors, and specialist consultants.

• Provide project management support on the delivery of Growth, Housing, Development and Regeneration projects.
