As a Head of Finance you will:

• Manage & Lead the finance function of the Abbey, supporting staff in their development
• Take the lead on monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy within your work
• Be responsible for management accounts and annual preparations aHead of audits
• Lead on the implementation of a strategic financial plan that supports the Abbey's development, mission and goals
• Manage funding sources, including grants and donations, and oversee investment strategies to maximise returns

To be successful as a Head of Finance, you will:

• Hold a professional accounting qualification or similar level of expertise gained by experience
• Have previous experience in financial management and leadership
• Be proficient in the use of Sage50
• Have an analytical approach, with a strategic mindset
• Experience of working within the charitable/not for profit sector would be advantageous, however, not essential.

In return, we are offering a salary of up to £45,000 depending on experience. Please note, this is a full-time permanent position based in Tewkesbury.
