You will lead the review of all Financial Controls across each division and design and implement group wide standardisation to ensure a first class controls environment, which is fit for purpose now and following future acquisitions.
You will be working closely with the senior leadership team and taking full ownership for Financial Controls and associated risks.
Head of Financial Controls – Insurance
- Review current controls across divisions and group
- Challenge current process and design / implement change
- Create and document group wide controls framework
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to embed best practice
- Develop controls testing and annual reviews
The Head of Financial Controls (Insurance) will come from strong controls background and have experience delivering reviews, challenging process, leading change and documenting new processes for both division and group and ideally from a large general insurance background.
You will have significant controls experience and from a qualified accountant background ( ACCA , ACA , CIMA ) with an appreciation for creating best in practice controls and risk processes and ensuring continual development to align with industry change.
- £600 - £650 Outside IR35
- Hybrid Working – Largely remote with some requirement for key meetings in London
- Initially on a 6 month contract
