SalaryThe Accountancy & Finance Division at The One Group is exciting to be working with an early 90s established organisation in recruiting for a Head of Financial Reporting Manager Role. Reporting in to the Finance Director, you will be accountable for producing internal and external financial reports as well as line managing 4 direct reports. This is a great opportunity to for a qualified professional who is keen to get stuck in to a varied position and be a key member of the management team.
As the Head of Financial Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Producing of monthly management accounts
- Producing financial reports and accounts
- Annual financial plans and budgets
- Review ways to develop internal Financial Reporting that would add value to the business and support decision-makers
- Timely bank reconciliation
- Leading reviews with internal budget holders
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Ensuring VAT returns are accurately reported
- Mentoring and personal development reviews with the direct reports
- Other duties to support Finance Director when required
As the Head of Financial Reporting Manager, you must demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Fully Qualified, ACA / ACCA / CIMA with some post-qualification experience
- Knowledge of UK GAAP - FRS102
- Proven experience of managing a team
- Strong communication, presentation and problem solving skills
- Confident in planning, critical thinking and investigating skills
