Are you a fundraising leader who wants to use your skills to support a charity which helps people across the Fylde coast live their lives to the full and live well to the very end?

Trinity Hospice is a much-loved local charity with a brilliant reputation. They believe in focusing on the positives within in the palliative care industry, providing patients with relief from the symptoms, pain, and stress of a serious illness to improve quality of life for them and their loved ones. They do this through recognising that each person has individual needs and caters to these needs through offering their services in the hospice, the hospital, at home, or residential care home. They are looking for a Head of Fundraising to cover maternity to support them to continue to achieve their mission of Enabling Compassionate Care on the Journey to End of Life.

About the Role

The Head of Fundraising will take responsibility for delivering Trinity's three-year fundraising strategy, covering all income streams including community and corporate fundraising, organised events, lottery, legacies, trusts and individual giving, to ensure the growth of sustainable income for the hospice. You'll motivate and inspire the fundraising, marketing, and communications team, encouraging them to deliver targets and develop their skills.

Through collaborating with the Communications manager and team, you'll develop and implement a marketing strategy, delivering strong messaging, campaigns and brand awareness for both income generation and non-income generation activities across the organisation. You'll ensure that current supporters feel appreciated, while attracting new donors through building the hospice's profile across the community. As Head of Fundraising you'll be a member of the executive team, playing a pivotal role in bringing Trinity's goals to life.

About You

This role would suit someone with a proven track record of successfully leading fundraising, and someone with knowledge and experience of a wide range of Fundraising income streams. We would love to see applications from seasoned fundraising leads, or fundraising managers who are keen to develop their leadership experience in a supportive and collaborative environment. You'll be walking into a really lovely role here, with a well-established and cohesive team.

If you are a fundraising leader, who is creative, supportive, and ambitious and have a genuine passion for providing everyone across Blackpool and the Fylde coast access to high-quality and consistent end-of-life care, this is the opportunity for you.

If you are interested in this role, please get in touch with a copy of your CV to Ellen Drummond at Charity People in the first instance, who will be happy to provide lots more information including how to apply.

Deadline: 9am Tuesday 19th March
Interviews: Monday 25th March
