SalaryProspectus is excited to be partnering with Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity in the search for a Head of Fundraising and Communications.
Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity provides specialist nurses and support for seriously ill children across the UK. Their vision is that every child, young person, and family living with a complex and lifelong health condition in the UK, has the dedicated care and support of a Roald Dahl Nurse Specialist.
As the Head of Fundraising and Communications, you will be responsible for line managing and leading a collaborative team of five to achieve income generation growth. Working across all income streams, this person will lead from the front to develop and implement best fundraising practice to ensure long-term relationships with a range of donors. Working closely with the CEO and Director of Development, this position will understand how to partner fundraising and communications together to increase overall support and income for the organisation.
To be successful as the Head of Fundraising and Communications, this person will have proven fundraising experience across a range of income streams, but particularly corporate, philanthropy and individual giving. This person will have led small teams before and be confident in motivating and line managing others. They will have previously supported and developed fundraising strategy, and be comfortable leading on new business opportunities for income generation.
This role is a full-time permanent position that will have hybrid working of minimum 1-2 days per week in the Amersham offices. The salary for this role is circa £55,000.
