About the Role Postholder will need to work on an out of hours on call rota with other team members on basis of 24/7 availability 1 week in 4 (13 weeks per annum). As the Head of Information Security Operations, your main responsibility is to lead a team that protects the University's digital assets. Your duties will include identifying, preventing, detecting, responding to, and recovering from possible Information Security threats and incidents. You will manage the technical Information Security services provided to the University on a daily basis, which includes delivering Security Operations tasks, providing guidance and advice to various stakeholders, and leading incident response activities. You will be in charge of managing the internal Security Operations team as well as strategic third-party partners who will co-deliver the service. Your role is crucial in designing and implementing robust security measures that ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information. Furthermore, you will be involved in developing and maintaining the University's Information Security strategy to enhance its overall security posture.
