As Head of the new International Student Journeys Service you will oversee the University's UKVI compliance and our approach to excellent student support for International Students. You will hold overall responsibility for the oversight, development and monitoring of policies, procedures and practices related to compliance and support. To support our International Students, we wish to appoint a motivated and experienced individual as our new Head of International Student Journeys. The post holder will provide expert advice and management in relation to all aspects of student support and immigration compliance matters as they relate to International Students. The post holder will have expert knowledge of the current UK immigration rules and policies, and of the current environmental factors relevant to Higher Education (HE). Educated to Degree level, or equivalent extensive employment experience across a range of roles with increasing levels of responsibility, you will have demonstrable experience of working successfully in student immigration and visa compliance focused on delivering an excellent customer service. The post-holder will support the University’s Authorising Officer in their duties; lead, manage and develop the new International Student Journeys Service; and be a key member of the senior leadership team within the Student Experience Directorate.
