Head Of Investor Relations

This is an outstanding opportunity for a skilled Head of Investor Relations, with experience working with FTSE 250 organisations, to join my PLC client on a fixed-term basis for 6-9 months. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and enhance communication between the leadership team of the organisation and its external investors.

Description

The Head of Investor Relations will take the lead in shaping and building the framework, team structure and narrative to deliver compelling communications to the external investor community and key stakeholders. You will lead the creation and delivery of communications of business strategy, business performance and ESG topics across digital formats, quarterly reports, presentations and other investor communications.

• Work with the leadership team to develop the communications narrative.
• Work with internal teams to create exact communications to highlight the organisation's achievements, opportunities and future outlook.
• Help the organisation develop a strong connection to external investors and develop effective communication processes to proactively respond to queries with informative content and data while meeting regulatory protocols.
• Develop the communication style and narrative that will enable investors to clearly and concisely understand the business performance in annual reports, quarterly updates, and investor presentations in an inclusive style to appeal to a diverse audience of Investors and stakeholders.
• Keep the leadership team informed of market trends and peer organisations to assist in the development of statements and presentations given to investors and agencies.
• Ensure IR sections of websites are correct and informative.

Profile

• We are seeking an immediately available experienced Head of / Director of Investor Relations who will work on a hybrid basis of 1-2 days per week in the office. You will also show:

  • Excellent experience in financial reporting and communication with a deep understanding of Investor relation management, capital markets and rating agencies
  • Excellent communication capability that is adaptable to a range of sectors and audiences.
  • Highly detailed organisation skills, exceptional understanding of financial information and ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks.
  • An inquisitive mind with the ability to easily build relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • The ability to deliver on tactical IR tasks whilst developing the longer-term strategy and plan for the IR function on how best to manage the investor relation process, team size and communication framework to be fit for the future.
