SalaryOur client, a not-for-profit organisation based in London, is looking for a Head of IT Systems & Security to join their team, ideally immediately.
Job Responsibilities:
- This role is an essential feature that allows the company to handle sensitive and personal data on behalf of public bodies and community organisations, acting as trusted partners.
You will be in charge of their software and hardware portfolio, information security and other IT policies, and the ongoing development and upkeep of their IT infrastructure and systems as an accomplished technical leader.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in developing and implementing IT strategies, data protection policies and procedures, data processing systems, data security, and planning IT projects.
- Capability to deliver innovative policies and approaches and make information security and technology everyone's business.
- Experience in the public sector or in a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) where new system and governance installation is necessary.
- Knowledge of industry standards including ISO27001, Cyber Essentials, DTAC, and NHS Digital Data Security Protection Toolkit.
- Bonus points for familiarity with data warehouses and electronic health and social care records.
