The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly dedicated an skilled individual to join our team as the Head of IT. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our IT strategy, manage infrastructure and security, oversee ISO compliance, and ensure smooth and efficient operations across our group of companies.

What you’ll do

Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the company’s overall business goals.

Lead and manage the IT team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Oversee all aspects of IT infrastructure, including network, servers, security, and cloud services.

Lead the IT integration workstream for companies acquired by Apadmi in the UK, Europe and North America.

Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect company data and assets.

Manage IT budgets and resources effectively.

Stay up to date on the latest IT trends and technologies and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and innovation with the preparation of business cases where required.

Partner with other departments, such as Development, QA, and Operations, to ensure seamless integration of IT services.

Manage the Apadmi Information Security Management System, ensuring that ISO 27001 certification is maintained for the existing scope and implemented for potential additional offices.

Identify and implement new technologies and tools that can optimise IT operations and support mobile app development.

Manage and oversee IT vendors and service providers.

What we’re looking for

Minimum 7 years of experience in a senior IT leadership role, preferably within a technology company.

Proven track record of developing and implementing successful IT strategies in Google and Microsoft technology stacks.

Previous experience of ISO certification and Information Security Management.

Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, security, and cloud technologies.

Experience in managing and leading an IT team.

Reliable, resilient and determined.

An empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person’s point of view and maintain strict confidentiality.

Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects, delegate where appropriate and meet deadlines effectively.

A passion for mobile technology and the app development industry.

Willingness to travel where there is a requirement to be onsite in other offices & countries.
