Job Title: Head of Lettings
Location: London

Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.
About this opportunity
Our team is looking for a Head of Lettings to head the newly formed Lettings team. If you're looking for a new challenge, then look no further.
Citra Living is an exciting venture for Lloyds Banking Group. Citra builds on the Group’s existing support for the housing market as one of the biggest mortgage lenders to first-time buyers, home movers and private landlords. Since 2018, Lloyds Banking Group has provided almost £40bn of mortgages in the UK and helped one in four first time buyers to get onto the housing ladder. Also, to play to the Group’s Strategy of ‘helping Britain prosper’ through the provisions of quality homes.
Citra works with leading house builders, and other participants, through strategic partnerships to identify sites and support the building of additional housing, with Citra buying elements of these new developments, to be offered as rental homes to Customers.
As well as ensuring continued support for the house building sector this will also help to address the continued increase in demand for rental properties at the same time. The properties, which aim to be accretive to housing stock in the UK, seek to provide a great rental experience for Customers.
This role will give you the scope to set up a team, reporting structures, and ways of working from scratch. Delivering an institutional grade offering to Customers whilst also creating best in class working practices for colleagues and the wider business.
Citra has significant ambitions over the next 5years, with evolution to the product and customer offering as well as size and scale of the business and market we occupy. We're looking for someone who is ambitious as we’re, motivated and driven to deliver exceptional customer service and products to the Customers we serve.
Responsibilities include:
  • Leading the lettings operation of the business
  • Working with the Citra team and third parties to develop and implement strategies to deliver the business targets
  • Be the main point of contact for lettings across the business including the management of third party suppliers
  • Be pivotal in the evolution of the Customer and Product offering
  • Create and implement best in class business processes, procedures and reporting
  • Work with the team to deliver a data led insights to allow informed business decisions

What You'll Need:
Our ideal Head of Lettings must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
  • Extensive knowledge of the letting market in the UK
  • Best in Class knowledge of the BTR market from an operator/client perspective
  • Be an innovative problem solver with a strong team ethic.
  • Extensive and in-depth knowledge of Landlord and Tenant legislation in the United Kingdom
  • Strong working knowledge of the Building Safety Act and Health & Safety legislation
  • Experience of establishing teams, working practices, policies, procedures, and reporting
  • Experience of working within a strong governance framework
  • Exceptional negotiations skills

It would be desirable if you have knowledge of Shared Ownership products or the affordable housing sector.
