Head of Lettings & Property Management - North London N8
An great opportunity has arisen for a Head of Lettings to join our Client based in North London , N8
The successful candidate will be very personable, articulate, customer service lead and able to maintain the efficient running of the Residential Lettings Office. Including meeting targets, managing a team and ensuring compliance.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Looking after 3 members of the lettings and Property management team
- Take on quality property to let and provide advice to prospective landlords
- Generate and develop new lettings instructions
- Overseeing creative marketing campaigns
- Manage a team, supporting team members to achieve their potential and to ensure objectives are met/exceeded
- Liaise with and assist our property Management and renewals team
- Oversee the seeking and vetting of prospective tenants
- Keep abreast of relevant tenancy legislation and relay to staff
- Provide a high level of efficiency and customer service to all clients
- Oversee the day to day administration, ensure correct procedures are followed and review better working practices
- Create and manage the budget
- Chase rent arrears
- Prepare Management Board reports and regularly report figures
- Service the requirements of corporate clients and relocation agents
- Be available when advice is required and assist colleagues
- Attend relevant meetings e.g. Residential Letting head meetings and Residential Divisional days
- Other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time
- Attend relevant training courses
- Adhere to and follow the Residential Lettings Standard Operating Procedures
The Successful Applicant will need to possess the following skills:
- At least 3+ years experience in management level.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong administrative, MS Office and organisational skills
- A strong team player with good interpersonal skills
- Numerate
- High attention to detail
- The ability to take the initiative in a confident and personable manner
- A friendly and approachable team player
- Experience of residential lettings market
- Team management/supervisory experience
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation
- Enjoys taking the initiative while seeking advice and support when appropriate
- ARLA qualified will be an advantage
- Clean drivers license
This Head of Branch Manager - Lettings position is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate, with long term career prospects.
The hours will be:
Monday to Friday - 8:45am to 6:00pm
Saturday - 8:30am to 6:00pm - 1 in 4 Saturdays.
Salary range will be:
£40,000 - 45.000pa basic + Bonus to be discussed
