Job description
Head of Lived Experience and Co-Production
GBP59,274 - GBP65,158 pa, plus excellent benefits
Aldgate, London (including flexible working)
We are delighted to be recruiting for a new role of Head of Lived Experience and Co-Production for the National Collaborating Centre for Mental Health.
With this role we are looking to take the next step in our co-production journey, by embedding our first Lived-Experience role into the NCCMH's leadership team.
We are looking for someone who shares our commitment to helping mental health services to provide the very best care to people, and embedding equity and sustainability in all that we do.
You will oversee all of the NCCMH's co-production and engagement work and will have a particular focus on bringing Lived-Experience leadership to our Culture of Care Programme.
To be eligible you will have experience of using, or caring for someone who has used mental health services, and in working in Lived Experience roles which have involved some leadership.
This is a full-time post, but we welcome any applications from people who would like to work on a job-share basis.
The College values a diverse workforce and welcomes applications from all sections of the community, reflecting the population it serves.
We are committed to building and maintaining an inclusive and supportive culture, a place where we can all be ourselves and succeed on merit. We aim to promote a more inclusive environment, which attracts all candidates and signals our commitment to celebrate and promote diversity.
We will provide appropriate reasonable adjustments for candidates who may have a disability.
We only recruit the best and in return for your commitment, the College offers an attractive salary and benefits.
We operate a hybrid working model of on-site and working from home/remote, which helps to ensure a flexible work-life balance.
