An established educational organisation is seeking a Finance Business Partner to support and deputise for the Head of Finance. This role is pivotal in providing commercial and operational support to the organisation, managing the business partnering function, ensuring the production of timely, auditable monthly and annual statutory accounts, and offering competent business partnering in compliance with financial, audit, and procurement regulations.
Day to Day of the role:- Manage and develop the business partnering staff, focusing on quality processes and outcomes.
- Develop an accurate and efficient payroll service.
- Analyse and report on income and expenditure gaps, providing information, advice, and guidance for financial performance improvements.
- Collaborate with HR on workforce planning management.
- Oversee and develop business partnering relationships, seeking continuous service improvement.
- Facilitate financial responsibility training for budget holders and staff.
- Produce monthly Management Accounts and financial reporting.
- Maintain and update financial forecasting and modelling processes.
- Coordinate and lead the provision of information to internal and external auditors.
- Continuously improve management and financial systems and administration.
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Proven experience in financial management and business partnering.
- Strong leadership and staff management skills.
- Ability to produce accurate financial reports and manage budgets.
- Knowledge of financial forecasting and modelling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
