Head of Sales Operations - Business Finance / Asset Finance / Wholesale Finance Reading / London / hybrid £100,000 to £120,000 per annum plus excellent benefits package The client: A well-established and substantially-backed provider of specialist lending solutions to consumers and the SME and mid-corporate sectors nationwide. The opportunity: A newly created leadership role reporting to the Commercial Director, leading a team of Sales support / credit support analysts to deliver an effective asset finance / wholesale finance proposition and provide industry-leading service across all of the specialist asset finance specialist business lines. The responsibilities: managing the first line team of Sales Analysts to devise and deliver a long term strategy to provide an efficient credit and operational support function and facilitate the divisional sales efforts. recruit, train and motivate a diverse, high-performing team to achieve strategic and operational objectives and leverage growth in each of the business lines. lead the development and delivery of new and existing products alongside the divisional heads and the portfolio management team. contribute to the formulation and achievement of the wider structured and specialist finance strategy. devising and delivering a strategy to develop and improve the product and credit knowledge of the Sales Analysts and galvanise them into a single, high-performing team. representing the function at Exco level and presenting with credibility and professionalism. The candidate: an proven leader with an understanding of the UK asset finance, wholesale finance and / or commercial banking sectors. well-developed knowledge of leading in a sales, credit, risk and operations environment. knowledge of statistical analysis and modelling relating to business performance. self-motivated and adept at developing and implementing commercial strategies, managing risk and contributing to the strategic success of a business. proven in delivering cultural change within an established business, improving behaviour and adopting best practice principles. committed to providing excellent and consistent customer experience whilst building great relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
