Head of Science | Job Summary:
- Preparing and assessing teaching sessions whilst maintaining an awareness of curriculum developments
- Build relationships with all young people to encourage their interest and participation in their education
- Creating an environment which is stimulating and purposeful of all pupils to promote teaching and learning outside the formal classroom settings
- Permanent role starting in September 2024
- MPS/UPS Outer London and negotiable TLR
- Minimum of a 2:1 undergraduate degree in Science from a Top UK University
- QTS gained through PGCE/Teach First/SCITT
- Have a proven background of teaching Science up to KS5, delivering teaching at a good or outstanding level
- Knowledge of current education issues in relation to terms of practice, process, and curriculum
