In a city facing unprecedented financial challenges, Birmingham City Council is seeking an experienced and dynamic leader who demonstrates the expertise, determination, and unwavering resilience required to deliver high-quality housing services to our tenants and leaseholders. Birmingham City Council is the largest local authority social landlord in Europe, with a stock profile of just under 60,000 properties. As a Head of Service, you will be responsible for leading on the delivery of all Housing Management services, including tenancy management and enforcement, ASB, estate management, tenant engagement, complex needs and older persons services, within a designated locality. You will also ensure the service operates within legislative requirements and meets the Council’s strategic priorities and the directorate’s policy objectives.
