Head of Trust & Foundations

The Head of Trusts and Foundations will be responsible for growing the income generated from Trusts and Foundations for Shakespeare's Globe to support our strategic priorities. The Development team have an annual revenue target to raise of £1.4million, of which just under £100,000 (excluding capital giving) is generated through Trusts and Foundations. We see this as an area for significant potential growth. Head of Trusts and Foundations will support the Director of Development in growing the annual income achieved from Trusts and Foundations; through the identification of projects, research of suitable funders, and submission of successful funding applications to maximise grants from Trusts and Foundations. Head of Trusts and Foundations will take a lead role in both creating the strategy and managing Trust and Foundation Manager to increase income targets for Shakespeare's Globe. Working alongside a Head of Individual Giving and Head of Partnerships you will be part of the Senior Management team at the Globe and collectively support the ambitious department plans for income growth.

This role will:

Develop projects and compelling proposals internally in order to secure multi-year grants (ranging from four to five figure gifts) to support Shakespeare's Globe's strategic priorities.

Oversee the Trusts and Foundations Manager to drive the strategy around securing funding from both non-statutory and statutory funders.

Working with the Director of Development this role will develop compelling bids and successful applications to support public revenue and capital campaigns and other fundraising initiatives with the wider Development team and colleagues from across Shakespeare's Globe.
