East London Foundation Trust are looking to appoint a Head of Administration within Specialist Children and Young People's Services (SCYPS) in Newham.
We are looking for a motivated professional with excellent communication skills to take on this role in administration management. This post has oversight of current and routine practice but also plays a significant role in contributing to the developments of the future, bringing together operational and medical processes with those of Administration. Main duties of the job This role managing an established team, will focus on tasks such as reviewing job plans and ensuring that productive, streamlined processes are in place to support clinical teams. It is key that this person is able to champion digital projects and has good excel and data skills.
The successful candidate must have significant people management skills and proven leadership experience managing a number of staff and or services effectively.
The role will involve providing assurance to the senior management team across a number of areas to include, workforce management, staff wellbeing, performance management and efficiency, to enable the smooth running of Administration provision across clinical and medical services. - RSA III or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience at a senior level band 6 or above within a healthcare or social care environment
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
- Significant previous in-depth experience supporting Senior Manager (s)
- Experience of preparation of reports and taking of minutes, together with setting agendas and distribution of associated papers
- To work autonomously with regard to originating correspondence to aid the smooth flow of the Directorate
- Experience of managing staff
- Business planning and budgetary planning.
- Delivery of NHS targets
- HR Processes
- Able to prioritise and plan work in a busy environment and to tight deadlines delegating where appropriate and planning other's workload
- Well-developed office management skills including the reviewing and/or setting up of systems
