Health Advisor
Salary:
£23,400 per annum + Benefits (Pro-Rata) -
Successful candidates are subject to our Development Progression Scale, as well as annual salary reviews
Part-time Role : Upto 22.5 hours per week (flexible working pattern)
Covering Chesterfield
- Regular travel required across the region so full licence & access to own vehicle is desirable
If successful you will be responsible for assisting Service Users through the Probation Health Trainer Service, accessing local services & making healthy changes to their lifestyle.
What will you be doing?
Work as part of a team to help improve their health and develop healthier lifestyles
Helping people to develop their knowledge and skills about health and well-being by enabling access to local services
Communicate with individuals in a variety of settings about health & wellbeing , promoting key messages around stopping smoking, healthy eating, physical exercise and alcohol & substance misuse etc
Signpost individuals to other agencies
To be successful you will require;
Experience of working with vulnerable/challenging people, for example people who have complex needs etc
The ability to deliver short and tailored interventions to address barriers within a given timeframe
