Contract: Permanent, full time
Responsibilities
As Health & Safety Advisor , you'll assist in the management and promotion of health, safety, environment, and well-being for our activities across the Somerset contracts and will require cross-functional support to other business units and involve travel to other base locations.
Your day to day will include:
- Support and engagement with teams to ensure compliance with safety, health, environment, and well-being policies, setting a good example to colleagues
- Collating information to produce reports, promote and support campaigns, arrange meetings, workshops, and forums
- Regular site, depot, and office inspections
- Supporting teams to close actions from audits, inspections, incident investigations, near misses and Safety observations and identifying trends
What are we looking for?
This role of Health & Safety Advisor is great if you have:
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety
- Working understanding of SHE legislation and ISO: 9001 ISO: 14001 & ISO: 45001
- Experience and knowledge of premises / facilities management and temporary traffic management
