Reporting to the H&S Officer, the Health and Safety Co-ordinator will provide administrator support and assist in the co-ordination and implementation of Health and Safety policies and practices.
Essential Job Duties:
- Support the processes the Company needs to meet its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting.
- Co-ordinate the development of Health and Safety policies, systems of work and procedures.
- Ensure the completion and regular review of all assessments for all work operations and equipment.
- Co-ordinate Safety inspections, fire drills, fire alarms are correctly reported, safety inspections, risk assessments and working procedures are managed and employees are aware of their responsibilities.
- Co-ordinate and support a full programme of documented Health and Safety inspections, audits and checks.
- Risk Assessments - Must be able to ad-hoc travel to London and Plymouth to suit business needs.
Hours of Business: 9-5 with 30 mins lunch or 8.30 - 5.00 with 60 mins lunch
