Description
You will work closely with the Operations teams and the wider business to establish all aspects of SHEQ within the business as well as being a driver behind improvement processes across the entire business. You will be tasked with ensuring full regulatory compliance and act as the lead person for all H&S matters. You will Improve performance through the implementation of relevant management systems and initiate and oversee a Health and Safety behaviour change programme. You will be fundamental in helping the business obtain the desired ISO UKAS accreditations
Profile
A successful SHEQ Manager should have:
- NEBOSH National/ Construction Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Practical working knowledge of working with ISO management systems.
- Examples of working in a SHEQ role at a similar level and bringing about cultural change
- Significant examples of managing Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality accreditations.
- Comfortable coaching, training and mentoring to develop team knowledge and expertise.
- Examples of successfully managing projects.
- Leadership examples of providing guidance, advice and encouragement in colleague's development.
