Position:  Health and Safety Officer

Location:  Dublin

Salary:  Neg DOE

The Job:

The candidate will be required to support our Project and Contracts Managers in the implementation and control of all Health & Safety elements across all projects. This role is a full-time permanent position and will be based out of our head office/warehouse in Ballycoolin, Dublin 11.

 Responsibilities:

• Hold a relevant Qualification
• Have a minimum of 4 years experience on building projects in Ireland or the UK
• Will have previous experience working on construction sites
• Hold a full, clean Driving license
• Excellent IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office including strong excel skills
• Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills

Requirements:

• Ensure H&S management systems are implemented and maintained across the site.
• Managing the administration for the Health & Safety induction & training plans for all site personnel.
• Regularly review and assisting the update Company Risk Assessments, Safe Operating Procedures and Safety statements.
• Manage training & compliance files for all colleagues & sub-contractors
• Ensure that staff have all the relevant manuals and training certifications
• Review sub-contractors Safety Statements and Safety Compliance.
• Promote a continuous improvement culture in relation to all health, safety, and environmental work practices on the site.
• Conduct site audits safety inspections.
• Generate Tool Box Talks
• Investigate/report accidents and incidents on-site ensuring relevant accident information for insurance purposes
