Role and Responsibilities:
Management of the EHS Management System on-site to ensure compliance with legislation, company procedures, and ISO 45001 / ISO 14001.
Promote a positive H&S culture on site with Site Management, Sub-contractors, and direct employees, with the ability to motivate and encourage them to achieve their goals.
Monitor EHS compliance and conduct weekly inspections and reports.
Create, improve, and implement robust site EHS procedures that meet statutory and environmental safety requirements.
Maintain and update all relevant EHS plans and documents on site, such as the H&S Plan, Environmental Plan, and SWMP.
Collaborate with and advise Site Management.
Conduct EHS meetings on-site.
Liaise with the client, PSDP, and design team as needed.
Create and finalize Risk Assessments and Method Statements with the Site Team.
Ideal Candidate:
You should have a recognized Health and Safety Degree/Diploma.
Experience in an EHS role, preferably in the electrical, civil, or infrastructure sectors.
Previous experience in the MV/HV power, solar, or wind industries is advantageous.
Member of the IOSH or working toward this accreditation.
Experience with ISO is preferred.
Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
