SalaryWe are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Lecturer in Health and Social Care, full time (24 hours of teaching) to join our team in a successful in Further Education Provider in Richmond area. As a Health and Social lecturer, you will inspire and guide students, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed for successful careers in Health and Social Care.
As a Health and Social Care Lecturer:- Teaching and Delivery: Deliver engaging and interactive lectures, workshops, and practical sessions to students at Level 2 in OCR and Axis Level 3.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of our Health and Social Care curriculum.
- Assessment and Feedback: Assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and support their academic progress.
- Student Support: Mentor and guide students, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Industry Engagement: Stay informed about industry trends and collaborate with local employers and organisations.
- Education: A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care.
- Teaching Experience: Previous experience teaching Health and Social Care subjects in a further education setting.
- Industry Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of Health and Social Care practices and policies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Passion for Education: A genuine interest in supporting students’ growth and development.
