This well-established Secondary School based in South Birmingham is looking for a Health and Social Care Teacher to join the Department. Receiving an "OUTSTANDING" in their last OFSTED report, teachers at this school are committed to providing the best standard of teaching. Your new job
As this is a long-term role starting on 8th April 2024, you will be required to:

• Plan and prepare Health and Social Care lessons for pupils in KS3 and KS4 (potentially KS5 dependent on experience)


• Complete the marking and assessment of pupils' work, along with being involved with facility and department meetings.


• You will deliver these lessons in a positive learning environment, ensuring all pupils are progressing consistently and achieving target grades.


• Have a focus on keeping high expectations of students' attainment and behaviour.

What you\'ll need to succeed
To be successful in securing this position, you must:

• Possess Qualified Teacher Status or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills Status


• Have experience teaching Health and Social Care within a secondary school. ECT's with Health and Social Care placement experience will be considered.


• You will possess excellent behaviour management skills.


• You will be keen to work as part of a team, share ideas and good practice.


• You will be available to start asap and continue on a long-term basis.


• Desirable to have experience teaching PE within a secondary school.
