The School and Role
ABC Teachers, a reputable education staffing agency, is currently seeking an enthusiastic BTEC Health and Social Care Supply Teacher to join a vibrant Sixth Form College. This is a great opportunity to work in a well-established Sixth Form College who are part of a dedicated Trust. The college is in a great location with nearby transport links and on-site parking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in BTEC Health and Social Care
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Provide timely feedback on student progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience
- Stay updated on curriculum changes and educational best practices
Requirements
The successful Health and Social Care Teacher will have;
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching BTEC Health and Social Care
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum and assessment methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
