Health Care Assistant

Salary: £11.45 - £12.15 per hour

Here at ECL Healthcare we provide care and support to a number of clients with multiple needs which can range from mental health, physical health, dementia, elderly care, respite, emergency care and end of life.

As a Homecare Worker you will be required to support your client holistically in order to promote their well-being and ensure they have an excellent quality of life. Support may consist of companionship, administering medication, assistance with nutritional needs and providing personal care to clients in the comfort of their own homes. You will also be required to adhere to clients’ individual care plans.

We have full- time rounds of work available and also part time rounds during the week and weekends. Ideal for people who are working a main job or have family commitments during the week, but have some time to spare at the weekends. If it's only a few hours on a regular basis we can offer you work once we have trained you.

What ECL Healthcare needs from you as a Care Worker:

• You must be 18 years and above
• Have the right to work in the UK
• Have a valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle (preferred)
• The ability to work on your own initiative
• Flexibility on travel
• The ability to understand and follow policies and procedures
• Good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively including writing skills to fill in documentation
• You will need a smart mobile phone which you can download your work apps
• An enhanced DBS, which you can apply upon registration
