As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be an integral part of our care team, providing crucial support to residents and promoting their independence and dignity. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will assist with various aspects of patient care, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting healthcare professionals in providing patient care.
- Keeping a vigilant eye on and documenting vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Aiding individuals with personal care duties, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administering medications following professional guidance and protocols.
- Supporting patient mobility and facilitating safe transfers when needed.
- Ensuring a hygienic and secure patient environment is maintained.
- Offering emotional support to both service users and their families during their healthcare journey
- Assisting with meal preparation and feeding as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months UK based experience.
- Hold valid UK Work Authorisation.
- Flexibility in shift patterns.
- Have a referee contact for your current or previous workplace.
