As a substantive member of the healthcare team, you will have an opportunity to complete the Care Certificate and it is expected that all staff employed into the role of substantive Health Care Support Worker will complete this element of the qualification within the first twelve weeks of employment. Full support from a dedicated apprenticeship team will be provided to achieve this.

Responsible for delivering patient care appropriate to own job remit

Mentoring new HCSW's and assisting with induction of new staff
